Bathroom Sink Installation

Replacing the Bathroom Sink: Turn off water below at the angle stops and disconnect. Depending on the style IE vessel or rim over tile and even cultured built in same rules apply. Unscrew the drain assembly and now cut free any sealant, caulking or grout until it’s loose to pull away. Size up and replace with new basin. When the old faucet is being reused the pop-up assembly needs to be reapplied on new set up. Important to know that 100% silicone has to be used on all stone or cultured surfaces, instead of plumbers putty. The oil in the plumbers putty will eat away the cultured surface. Now rebuild the drain in the new sink and follow details on manufactures guide. To drop the new basin back in vanity top do so carefully and line up your new to old. Center on top to cover all evenly. Reseal the new components before and after thoroughly IE caulk or grout at sink top and add any applicable fastening clips as well. Reconnect all supply and drain lines and check for leaks. Fill to top and use the overflow feature in new basin to test your pop-up assembly as well. Great job my friend!!
